A toast to the Vineyards, River Landing’s newest neighborhood
According to a recent report from the Duplin Winery web site, this summer’s drier than normal conditions were perfect for the area’s muscadine grapes, making them extra plump and extra sweet for harvesting this month.
Certainly the 15 acres of vines onsite at River Landing were absolutely gorgeous this fall as they hung full with seven different varieties of sweet grapes. And even though all of the luscious grapes have been picked for this year, the views of the vines are still spectacular from the new homes being built in the Vineyards, the newest neighborhood at River Landing.
For the first time in the development’s history, River Landing is constructing a series of three unique model homes – The Verona, The Siena and The Bianco – in the Vineyards neighborhood. The first two homes should be completed by the beginning of October for prospective homebuyers to tour.
